This is the Bibob questionnaire, which is used in accordance with the Bibob Act (Act on the Promotion of Integrity Assessments by Public Administration). This Act enables us to investigate the background of companies and individuals who apply for or obtain permits, subsidies, contracts, and/or real estate transactions from us. For the Bibob investigation, we need certain information from you, which you can provide on this form. We ask that you submit several supporting documents along with this form; the specific documents required are indicated for each question. The Hollands Noorderkwartier Water Board applies the Bibob Act to prevent unintentional contributions to criminal activities and to protect the fair competitive position of bona fide parties. After receiving and reviewing the information, a decision will be made on whether to approve the application.
This questionnaire must be completed by the person concerned. You are considered a “person concerned” under the Bibob Act (Article 1, paragraph 1) if you are involved in a decision, a government contract, or a real estate transaction with a government agency or a legal entity performing a government function. For example, if you are applying for or hold a “ licence ” (certificate of good standing), receive a subsidy, wish to carry out a government contract, or buy, rent, or sell real estate to the government.
