This dike is a beautiful place to take a walk. It is easily accessible by bicycle and has a playground for children, including a toilet. The playground can be reached via the stairs. The dike is designed so that when the water is high, it ends up in a kind of reservoir, from which it can easily be pumped out again when possible. As an extra precaution, in the event of a dike overflow, the water can also remain in the playground, where it is held back by the lower location of the playground and a raised section of the dike that follows, where children can enjoy sliding down the slide as long as the water stays away. There is also a canoe rental facility in the dike next to the toilet, so that the dike can also offer entertainment in the event of a flood.
