This dike is a nice place to take a walk. The dike is easily accessible by bicycle and has a playground for children, including a toilet. The playground can be reached by stairs. The dike is designed so that when the water is high, the water ends up in a kind of reservoir, where it can be easily pumped out again when the weather allows. As an extra precaution, if the dike floods, the water can also remain in the playground, where it is held back by means of the lower position of the playground and an elevation of the dike that comes afterwards, where now as long as the water stays away the children can enjoy sliding down the slide. There is also a canoe rental in the dike next to the toilet so that the dike can also provide entertainment in the event of a flood.
