This innovative façade system from Blue Innovations buffers rainwater, greens façades, and brings natural cooling back to urban areas. The funding will enable accelerated growth from working prototype to production and market introduction. 

Facades as water buffers and greening elements

After six years of development, TheClimateWall is ready for widespread use. The system functions passively and autonomously, storing rainwater and watering plants throughout the year—even during prolonged droughts of up to 60 days. Thanks to its simple 'plug, flow & grow' principle (easy installation) and high impact, the system is particularly suitable for urban areas with water and heat problems. The system can be used on facades, but also as a fence and, for example, as an educational display at schools.
