Enforced collection

If the due date has passed and you have not paid the tax assessment (in full), you will usually first receive a free payment reminder. If you still do not pay, we will initiate enforcement proceedings.

How it works

Enforcement is the set of measures we take if you do not pay your water board tax assessment before the final due date. Examples of enforcement include sending a reminder or writ of execution and seizing your income or possessions.

If you still do not pay after the writ of execution, an external bailiff's office will take over the enforcement from us. This concerns:
