My linocut consists of two different photos, the sailboat and the large boat, which were later merged. The photos were taken while mudflat walking near Schiermonnikoog. I thought it was a really cool experience and therefore perfect to capture with my linocut. While walking, we picked up bags full of plastic that would otherwise have ended up on the seabed. The amount of plastic was unbelievable. The striking color of the lifebuoy among all the shades of blue and purple really shows how beautiful the Wadden Sea is. I think it's important that we continue to treat it with respect.
