Code of Conduct
As a government agency, the Water Board has an exemplary role in society. This entails special responsibilities for employees. The core values and rules of conduct of the Water Board can be read in the Code of Conduct Integrity. Each employee is individually responsible for compliance with these rules.
Although as an employee of HHNK from 2020 you will be subject to the Civil Code (private law), special rules for integrity remain for civil servants. These can be found in the Civil Service Act 2017. The rules cover, for example:
- taking the oath or pledge;
- integrity policy;
- avocations;
- financial interests;
- freedom of expression, freedom of association and the duty of confidentiality;
- The procedure for reporting wrongdoing.
