No muck in the well

Do not throw junk such as construction debris and other bulky waste, as well as dog poop bags, chemicals, leaves or other green waste into street drains. During heavy rainfall, this causes flooding in the streets, homes and businesses. Unclogging street manholes also costs the municipality a lot of time and money. Many street manholes are not connected to a sewage treatment plant, but to a rainwater or infiltration sewer that drains into a ditch. As a result, dirt ends up directly in groundwater or surface water. This leads to poor water quality, fish kills or odors. Street drains are intended only for clean (rain) water.
Flooding
During heavy rainfall, gunk in the manhole caused by sewer blockages causes flooding in the streets, homes and businesses.
