Municipality of Beverwijk: Munnikenweg playground

The municipality of Beverwijk is going to work on making the playground on Munnikenweg climate-proof. The playground is currently higher than the surrounding area. To create storage capacity, the playground will be lowered. Whether and how much underground storage is needed still depends on the water issues in the adjacent streets. For infiltration, the playground will be softened and an underground infiltration facility will be constructed. The project will be completed by the end of December 2024. The total cost of this project is €79,321.61; a contribution of €20,596.54 has been awarded from the KAN scheme.
