Municipality of Hoorn: Removing stones from Hoorn

In the coming years, the municipality of Hoorn will be working on removing paving stones. A paving stone removal map has been drawn up and, based on a prioritization, a list of unnecessarily paved areas has been compiled. These areas will be greened in the coming years by replacing tiles with greenery. Hoorn started removing paving stones in mid-August 2024. This project will be completed by the end of 2026. The total cost of this project is €202,730.91, of which €60,819.27 will be subsidized by the KAN scheme.
