Municipality of Schagen: Removing stones and greening the municipality of Schagen

Work will begin on removing stones and greening various locations in the municipality of Schagen. The locations will be selected based on the presence of heat stress in combination with unnecessary paving. Greening these areas will have a positive effect on the water cycle, heat stress, and flooding. The total cost of this project is €181,143.54, of which €54,943.06 is subsidized by the KAN scheme. The project will be completed in mid-2025.
