Waiver request denied
Here's how it works
Has your waiver request been denied or partially denied and you think it is wrong? If so, you can file a notice of appeal. You must file your notice of appeal within ten days of the date of the ruling on your request for relief. In your notice of appeal, explain why you disagree with the ruling. In your notice of appeal, put the following information:
- Your name, address and place of residence;
- The claim number of the assessment for which your waiver request was denied;
- The reason why you are appealing;
- copies of documents that support your appeal.
You can send your notice of appeal to:
The board of dike wardens and high water boards
Postbus 29
1700 AA Heerhugowaard
We do not forward your appeal to your municipality, nor do we receive appeals from your municipality. So you must file a notice of appeal with each authority separately!
Deferral of payment
While your appeal is pending, we will halt collection.
The payment schedule by direct debit does continue!
Appeal review
When reviewing your appeal, we will take the information in your request for relief and the relief standards in effect at the time. If your income has decreased significantly since your request for relief, we will take this into account.
