First Market Day of the Hollands Noorderkwartier Water Board

On Thursday, March 19, the very first Market Day will take place at the Hollands Noorderkwartier Water Board (HHNK). Registration for this day is no longer possible (see bottom of this page).

Learning, developing, and connecting together 

The overarching theme of Market Day is 'The power of togetherness'. Our water authority is constantly evolving. Many developments are new and offer opportunities to explore and deepen our knowledge together with the market. That is why we cordially invite you to an inspiring afternoon focused on cooperation, our tasks, and our relationship. During interactive breakout sessions, we will explore, learn, and develop together with our market partners. It will be an afternoon full of valuable connections, new insights, and joint steps toward the future.

• Date: Thursday, March 19, 2026
• Lunch: 12:00 p.m. to 1:00 p.m.

Parking and accessibility 

There is limited parking available on the HHNK campus. We therefore recommend that you travel by public transport. If you prefer to come by car, you can park in one of the nearby parking garages, at the station at a low rate, or at the P+R Heerhugowaard on the Westtangent. 

Who is it for? 

We organize Market Day especially for our partners. These include contractors, engineering firms, and other organizations that work with us on water management. We would also like to hear from you about what is needed to help realize future challenges!Do you work with HHNK or would you like to do so in the future? Then you are very welcome to join us!

The provisional programme: 

• 12:00-1:00 p.m.: Lunch & Walk-in
• 1:00-2:00 p.m.: Plenary opening
• 2:15-3:00 p.m.: Round 1 breakout sessions
• 3:00-3:15 p.m.: Changeover moment
• 3:15–4:00 p.m.: Round 2 breakout sessions
• 4:00-5:00 p.m.: Collaboration café and networking drinks

Unfortunately, the maximum number of registrations has been reached, so it is no longer possible to register for Market Day.
