Subsequent assessments

You have received water board tax assessments from us for several years, or we have informed you that you will receive several assessments. These are expenses that you may not have anticipated, and we regret that. We are sending the assessments because we want to distribute the costs fairly among the businesses and households in our management area. We want to accommodate you with several payment options.

Direct debit

If you pay by direct debit, you pay in installments and automatically: HHNK will automatically debit the same amount from your account each month for a maximum of 10 months. This has many advantages. You can easily request direct debit via my HHNK. If you have multiple tax assessments, you may end up paying several instalments .

Pay the entire tax bill

You can choose to pay the tax assessment amount in full immediately.

To make the payment, log in to my HHNK and pay with iDEAL. You can also transfer the amount to account number NL20 NWAB 0636 7586 80 in the name of HHS HOLLANDS NOORDERKWARTIER or HHNK. Please state the claim number and the subject number. These numbers can be found on the tax assessment notice.

Are you paying from a foreign bank account? If so, please also include the Bank Identifier Code (BIC): NWABNL2G.

Please note! Do you use direct debit? Then you will pay the next water board tax assessment in instalments as usual.

Pay part of the tax bill

Even if you use direct debit, you can choose to pay part of the tax assessment amount in one go, for example half. The remaining amount will be debited in a maximum of 10 instalments. For the next tax assessment, you can simply use direct debit again.

Pay in fewer instalments

You can choose to pay the next assessment in less than 10 months: this means you will have paid the assessment earlier. You can also do this by direct debit. The fewer instalments choose, the higher the monthly payment will be. Go to the Payment arrangement for subsequent assessmentspage and fill in the form to make a proposal.

Pay in more instalments

If you instalments pay your water board tax in more than 10 instalments or not by direct debit, you can apply for a personal payment plan. For more information, see the pagePayment plan for back taxesand fill in the form to submit a proposal.

Right to remission?

Are you genuinely unable to pay the tax assessments? You may be eligible for remission. For more information, see the Remission page.
