New construction and takeover of Rioolgemaal de Worst pumping station

What's going to happen?

In Volendam, we are working on the acquisition and new construction of the De Worst sewage pumping station. This pumping station pumps wastewater to the Katwoude treatment plant to prevent surface water pollution. The old pumping station was outdated and is being replaced by a more modern one, designed and managed by the water board. During the work, we are taking measures to minimize inconvenience to local residents.

Where is the project taking place? 

The project is taking place on Begoniastraat/Dahliastraat/Foksiastraat in Volendam.

When will the project take place and how long will it last?

The project will run from September 1, 2023, to January 31, 2024.

Who do we work with?

We work together with the municipality of Edam-Volendam.
