New construction and acquisition Sewerage pumping station de Worst

What will happen?

In Volendam, we are working on the takeover and new construction of the De Worst sewage pumping station. This pumping station pumps wastewater to the Katwoude treatment plant to prevent pollution of the surface water. The old pumping station was outdated and will be replaced by a more modern one, designed and managed by the higher water board. During the work we are taking measures to minimize inconvenience to local residents.

Where does the project take place? 

The project will take place in Begoniastraat/Dahliastraat/Foksiastraat in Volendam.

When will the project take place and how long will it take?

The project runs from Sept. 1, 2023, to Jan. 31, 2024.

Who do we work with?

We cooperate with the municipality of Edam-Volendam.
