Noria Sustainable Innovators is a company that develops innovative solutions to the problem of plastic waste in our waters.

It is estimated that every minute, one truckload of plastic ends up in the sea, a large proportion of which comes from rivers. Plastic does not decompose, but gradually breaks down into smaller plastic particles. These particles are then eaten by fish, birds, and many other animals. In short, this is a major environmental pollution problem and therefore reason enough to remove plastic from our rivers, preferably close to the source.

Noria has developed various systems that can capture plastic in cities, rivers, or pumping stations in a sustainable, fish-friendly, and affordable manner. The plastic scoop is a solution that removes no less than 95% of floating plastic from the water.

Water quality

In the Netherlands, too, it is estimated that more than 3 million kilograms (according to some studies, as much as 14 million kilograms) of plastic waste flows into the North Sea via our rivers and beaches. By installing Noria's systems, we can significantly improve water quality in the Netherlands in terms of plastics.
