Public space: preparing for major maintenance

The water safety requirements have been adjusted, which means that combining work is no longer possible in the short term. An alternative has therefore been sought: although the material in the public space has not yet been written off, there is evidence of rutting and other damage. This will be addressed with major maintenance work. The starting point here is to reuse as much of the existing material as possible. Preparations for this maintenance take time, including for design and implementation documents, tenders, and the necessary capacity. For the time being, the work is expected to be carried out in 2025.
