Renovation sewer pumping station Broekpolder

What will happen?

The sewage pumping station Broekpolder on the Stan Kentonlaan (opposite house number 53) in Beverwijk is outdated. The firm Landustrie Sneek BV is therefore renovating it on behalf of Hoogheemraadschap Hollands Noorderkwartier. The sewage pumping station pumps your wastewater to the sewage treatment plant. 

Within the pumping station, among other things, the existing pumps, piping and partly the electrical installation will be replaced. The work will be carried out in phases eliminating the need for temporary pump installations.

The work will be performed on weekdays between 7:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. The work site will be cordoned off with construction fencing and there will be a construction site hut. During the work you may experience some inconvenience due to extra traffic movements and/or work noise. We kindly ask you not to park your car at the sewage pumping station during the work.

When will the project take place and how long will it take?

The work is tentatively scheduled from Jan. 13 to March 7, 2025.
