Silver Oudhoff

At my workplace, you can see the Kaagmolen windmill and the steam pumping station. I chose this composition because I think it reflects the history of the Netherlands well: the Kaagpolder, the windmill, the steam pumping station from the era of the industrial revolution, and finally the water that has made the Netherlands what it is today. After a lot of experimentation with light and shadow, color, and composition, I chose this print (13 of 13) as my final work. This is because, in my opinion, the difference between the clouds and the sky, and the light falling on the mill, are well captured here.
