Theme afternoon Technical Management and Environmental Management April 8, 2025

On April 8, technical advisors and environmental managers from the window manufacturers attended the first theme afternoon. At HHNK, we see our counterparts on a regular basis, but this is naturally less common among contractors. We thought it would be a good idea to bring the specialists together at a professional level. The aim was to get to know each other and discuss the guidelines for technical design and environmental management. Below is a summary.

Technical design

The technical session began with an introduction by Sarah about theprogramme. She discussed what we have already achieved within VBK and what technical challenges we still face between now and 2030. Mitchell, Geotechneut HHNK, then explained the HHNK design guideline. This document was drawn up in 2023 and is periodically updated with the latest knowledge and insights gained from our projects. 

Environmental management 

We considered the standard products in environmental management, including the prescan environment (including permit inventory) and the project description for the water permit application (also known aslicence service'). We considered working with joint formats. Participants indicated a need for a good example of customer requirements specifications (CRS). It has been agreed that all parties will submit a CRS.
