My dike of the future consists of a design for a dike that can accommodate stores, like a boulevard. The inspiration for this comes from the excursion to the beach dike in Hoorn. The stores are partly in the dike as reinforcement, to save space and to make them less visible. After all, people can still walk on top of the dike now, and if you look at the dike it looks pretty normal from the "residential side.
