Foreword

At the beginning of this year, we launched the new framework agreement for engineering services for the Improvement of Reservoir Quays (VBK-3) and Water Management (WO-2.0). The contract was officially signed by all parties on February 4.

Coincidentally, three parties (Arcadis, Iv, and RPS) from the previous framework agreement are also involved in the new agreement. In addition, we welcome three new parties (Tauw, bureau Schmidt, and Movares).

We have now been working with the framework agreement for a good six months, and various assignments are being carried out under this new framework agreement. We are becoming quite skilled at working with the product table, in which the products to be delivered are listed like a menu. We are also finding our way in standardizing the products, so that we all use the same working method, which is very efficient. To this end, a theme afternoon on environmental management and technology was held on April 8. A session on writing specifications will also be organized shortly.

There is a lot going on in the programme, and then you realize how many people are working on the assignments, both at the window parties and at HHNK. I quickly come up with around 80 subject matter experts who work on the programme for a few hours or even full days each month. So it's not a bad idea to share some information with each other in a newsletter every now and then.

We will publish a newsletter every six months and try to include important, fun, and interesting aspects of the work in the programme. Everyone's input is welcome, so here's a call for contributions:

If you have any fun or interesting topics, please email them to n.boot-vanloon@hhnk.nl.

Enjoy reading this first newsletter of this new framework agreement.

Kind regards,
