Open Government Act

Government information is, in principle, public. This is laid down in theOpen Government Act(Woo). The Woo is intended to encourage the government to be as open as possible. The Woo obliges government bodies to disclose certain information on their own initiative. In addition, anyone can submit a request for information to be made public.

Clearly state the subject about which you would like to receive information, which documents you would like to view, and the period covered. Don't forget to include your contact details so that we can contact you about the processing of your request.

Do you need help?

If you need help submitting your request, please contact our Woo contact person. You can reach this contact person by calling our telephone number 072-5828282. The Woo contact person is there specifically to help you find information from HHNK.

How will I receive the information?

We prefer to send the documents digitally. This is free of charge. If you would like to receive the documents on paper, this is also possible. We may charge a fee for making copies of documents.  

When can I expect a reply?

We will decide on the request within four weeks. This period may be extended by two weeks. In that case, you will be informed in good time.

Decision on your request

In most cases, we will comply with your Woo request. The information will then be made public. However, certain information may not be disclosed, for example, due to personal privacy concerns or because it contains competitively sensitive data from companies. Non-disclosure may also be related to the interests of other people or companies. They will be given the opportunity to indicate why they disagree with the disclosure certain information. This response will be taken into account in the decision on your request. Due to this procedure, it may sometimes take longer for a decision to be made on your Woo request.

Disclosure of your request

After a decision has been made on your Woo request, we will publish the decision and all information on our website.
