In the Netherlands it cannot be missed: water. Rivers and lakes can be found in every environment. The reflection of water acts as a mirror. For this assignment, the focus was on the reflection of nature in water. Our work had to be typically Dutch. For me, a meadow is typically Dutch. Therefore, for my work I photographed a meadow near a small lake, getting the reflection of the horse and the trees right. With the right photo I went to work. In my work, I did not apply paint to the entire mold with each print. This was with the idea that I could give each part in the work its own color and not the entire work in different shades of one color. My final work is a representation of the Dutch landscape, mirrored in the lake.
