In the Netherlands, it's impossible to miss: water. Rivers and lakes can be found in every environment. The reflection of the water acts like a mirror. For this assignment, the reflection of nature in the water was central. Our work had to be typically Dutch. For me, a meadow is typically Dutch. That's why I photographed a meadow near a lake for my work, capturing the reflection of the horse and the trees. Once I had the right photo, I set to work. In my work, I did not cover the entire mold with paint for each print. This was so that I could give each part of the work its own color rather than covering the entire work in different shades of one color. My final work is a representation of the Dutch landscape, reflected in the lake.
