Self-scans and monitoring of manure storage and composting

To prevent crop protection products and fertilizers from leaking, there are guidelines for the storage of agricultural materials such as manure and for composting. Together with municipalities, the Regional Implementation Service North Holland North (RUD NHN), the environmental police, the Agricultural and Horticultural Organization (LTO), and the Royal General Bulb Growers' Association (KAVB), we have developed self-scans for agricultural entrepreneurs so that they can check for themselves whether the storage of agricultural substances or composting is going well. They also receive practical tips on how to improve their storage. In the municipalities of Den Helder, Schagen, and Hollands Kroon, we will be checking storage in the coming period together with RUD NHN and the environmental police.
