Asphalt maintenance work Vaartdijk

What will happen? 

The asphalt construction on the Vaartdijk is in poor condition and will be replaced to ensure the safety and quality of the road. Because the road is on the crest of the dike and must meet certain height requirements, it will be partially raised. This is necessary to meet the requirements for stability and water drainage of the dike.

Where does the project take place? 

Vaartdijk, Assendelft. From the Forbo (south side of the railroad line) to the Watertoren (or, in other words, the stretch between the N203 and the Communicatieweg Oost). 

When will the project take place and how long will it take?

Work will begin on March 4, 2025, and last about 12 weeks.

Who do we work with?

The work will be performed by Heijmans.
