Asphalt maintenance work on Vaartdijk

What's going to happen? 

The asphalt structure on the Vaartdijk is in poor condition and will be replaced to ensure the safety and quality of the road. Because the road is located on the crest of the dike and must meet certain height requirements, it will be partially raised. This is necessary to meet the requirements for stability and water drainage of the dike.

Where is the project taking place? 

Vaartdijk, Assendelft. From Forbo (south side of the railway line) to the Water Tower (i.e., the section between the N203 and Communicatieweg Oost). 

When will the project take place and how long will it last?

Work will commence on March 4, 2025, and will take approximately 12 weeks.

Who do we work with?

The work will be carried out by Heijmans.
