The asphalt structure on the Vaartdijk in Assendelft is in poor condition and will be replaced. The road will also be partially raised.

Wastewater treatment plants and sewers can be used to generate heat and cold, electricity, and green gas. This project aims to capitalize on these opportunities.

The sewage pumping station is outdated and prone to malfunctioning, and is being renovated to ensure it can operate reliably again.

There are moles in some places in our dikes. For water safety reasons, we have them removed by a professional mole catcher.

To protect the water-retaining function of the Markermeer and IJsselmeer dikes, we burn away vegetation on the stone revetments.

The Noordervaartdijk no longer meets the legal safety requirements. Parts of it are too low and insufficiently stable.
