Elementary school grades 3, 4 and 5

At the Zuiderzee Museum, students engage in a battle with water: they build dikes, drag sandbags and turn a mortar.

The well-known cartoon character Droppie Water invites elementary school children to learn about everything about water.

Do you know what beautiful things live in the ditch? If you go looking for it, you'll be surprised what creatures you discover!

With landing nets and search cards, students perform various tasks. This way they learn about animal and plant life in and near the ditch.

At the Zuiderzee Museum, children put on their boots and climb onto the dike. There they battle the water like real dike workers.
