Elementary school grades 3, 4, and 5

At the Zuiderzee Museum, students battle the water: they build dikes, drag sandbags, and turn a screw.

The well-known cartoon character Droppie Water invites elementary school children to learn about everything related to water.

Do you know what wonderful creatures live in the ditch? If you go looking for them, you'll be surprised at the animals you discover!

Using scoop nets and identification charts, the students carry out various assignments. This teaches them about the animal and plant life in and around the ditch.

At the Zuiderzee Museum, children put on boots and climb onto the dike. There, they battle the water like real dike workers.
