Message box from My Government
Are you registered for the MijnOverheid Message Box? If so, you will only receive your tax assessment digitally. If not, you will receive your tax assessment by mail. You MijnOverheid use MijnOverheid to choose whether you want to receive your tax assessment digitally or not.
What is the Message Box?
The Message Box is your personal mailbox where you can receive digital mail from the Tax and Customs Administration, RDW, SVB, UWV, and your municipality. This includes messages about your benefits, child allowance, unemployment benefit payment details, or the expiration of your driver's license or vehicle inspection. When you have new messages, you will automatically receive an email. More and more government agencies are joining the Message Box, which means you can receive more and more mail digitally.

Using the message box
To use the Message Box, go to MijnOverheid and follow the instructions. Log in with your DigiD. You can choose which organizations you want to receive messages from via the Message Box.
Authorize someone
Would you like to use the Message Box, but does someone else help you with your mail? You can authorisation someone to read your messages. You can arrange this via DigiD Authorization.
