I painted my painting with acrylic paint. I chose a Dutch landscape, namely a beautiful spot in the Vondelpark, and painted it. To add a little extra playfulness to the painting, I added a kind of water god/nature god with a trumpet on the left side of the landscape to indicate that spring has arrived. In the middle of the water, I also added a temple dedicated to the goddess Flora. The flowers are blooming, and the grass is green. I also used only coloured and as many 's' and 'c' shapes as possible to make the god more dynamic and striking. I did this to see how you can mix abstraction with realism and how far you can go with abstraction while still being able to see that it is a god.
