Dilemmabox

The Dilemmabox targets students from Technasia, havo or vwo schools with science subjects and the subject Research and Design in their curriculum. The Dilemmabox is not a physical box, but a facilitating online tool, combined with physical and online meetings with experts from the Hoogheemraadschap and TU Delft.

Through the Dilemmabox, students receive online support, for example through videos and all the information needed to solve a "stink case. In the Dilemmabox, the R&D assignment is fully processed according to the guidelines and teachers and students can carry out the project step by step.

A smelly case is a water-related issue from the Water Board for which there is no solution yet. Think of issues in the field of water safety, flooding, drought, water quality, but also water and climate change or water and nature are possible themes for which the water board seeks "help" from these students. The projects will be assessed by the experts during the final presentations.
Available cases that students can participate in are:

• Poop and pee separating toilet (class 1 and 2)
• Medicine separating toilet (class 2 and 3)
• Sandbags at the door (class 1, 2 and 3)
• The innovation of sewage treatment (class 1,2 and 3)
