Ella Goudsblom
The photo on which this painting is based was taken at night in IJmuiden on the beach in the Kennemer Dunes area. This is a place where I grew up and have many fond memories. The red lights in the distance are from the wind farm in the North Sea. Nature is influenced by man with a good purpose. The lights and the moon symbolize the cooperation between man and nature.
