Ella Goudsblom

The photograph on which this painting is based was taken in the evening in IJmuiden on the beach in the Kennemer dune area. This is a place where I grew up and have many fond memories. The red lights in the distance come from the wind farm in the North Sea. Nature is influenced by humans for a good cause. The lights and the moon symbolize the cooperation between humans and nature.
