Emke Bodde
The mill I depicted in my lino work is "Mill D" and stands on the edge of the Oosterdel. When we were given this assignment, this image immediately came to mind because I cycle past the Oosterdel on my way to school every day. In my opinion, the mill on the dike shows a beautiful piece of North Holland polder history. Langedijk used to consist of many small islands and the area I have depicted still shows this old Langedijk very well.
