I chose this etching as my final project because I am very pleased with the light-dark contrast I created with this attempt. The light-dark contrast seems to create a stormy atmosphere. I thought the small bridges in the foreground were a nice detail and wanted to include them in my final project because they draw attention to the mill. This creates perspective and direction. Although I added more detail in my later prints, I still believe this is my best work.
