When visiting the VisKringloop, I was particularly inspired by the many flowers that gave the area a more colorful appearance. This inspired me to paint a field with many different flowers, just like the one in Wieringermeer. In such a large area with tall grass and lots of water, flowers are often overlooked, even though they are so beautiful when you look at them up close and they brighten up the grass a little.
