Requesting a waiver
If you are unable to pay your water taxes, apply for a waiver. We will assess your request based on your income, expenses and assets.
Here's how it works
Through My HHNK you can apply for digital remission of assessments imposed in this year. Answer five questions and you will immediately see whether it makes sense to apply for relief in your case.
Online
Can't do it online?
Do you not have a DigiD or do you want to apply for remission for an assessment that was not imposed in this year? If so, you can contact the Water Board by phone, as well as using a notification form, to apply for remission:
- Phone: 0900 - 9112112 (for this number you pay your usual telephone charges)
- Report form
To assess whether you are entitled to relief, we need a lot of data from you. When you apply for relief, you give us permission to request this data from:
- the Internal Revenue Service;
- The National Road Administration (RDW);
- the Basic Registration of PersonsBRP);
- the Employee Insurance Administration Agency (UWV).
Requirements
- You paid the assessment no more than three months ago.
