Luna Beach
I grew up in Heerhugowaard-Zuid. From an early age, I could be found every evening in Luna Park for a walk, and every summer I would lie with my towel by the beautiful lake. Luna Park/Beach is the perfect mix of a man-made recreational area and the wonders of nature. That is why I chose to express this in the form of a visual work, for which the linocut technique is perfectly suited. This technique allows you to express the different layers of the landscape and show all the elements that make this piece of (man-made) nature so beautiful and typically Dutch.
