Renovation of Waardweg inlet

What's going to happen? 

The inlet on Waardweg is an important inlet for the Wieringermeer water level area. In order to continue to provide the area with sufficient, high-quality water in the future, we are replacing the inlet, increasing the inflow capacity, and renewing the revetment. 

Where is the project taking place?

The work will take place at Waardweg 20 in Slootdorp.

When will the project take place and how long will it last?

The work will start on September 1, 2025, and continue until March 1, 2026. During the work, there will be a speed limit near the inlet.
