Types of water tax

We distinguish four types of water taxes.

  • Sewage tax

    You pay treatment charges if your home or business premises are connected to the sewer system.

  • Pollution Levy

    You pay pollution charges aIs your home or commercial property is not connected to the sewer system.

  • Water system levy

    From the water system levy, we pay the cost of dikes, dunes, pumping stations and locks, among other things.

  • Road tax

    You pay road charges if the Water Board manages roads in your community.
