Subsidy scheme for polder mills Hollands Noorderkwartier
With the Hollands Noorderkwartier Polder Windmill Subsidy Scheme, we Noorderkwartier owners of polder windmills in our management area with an annual contribution for activities aimed at maintaining polder windmills.
Requirements
- The application complies with the provisions of our General Subsidy Regulation HHNK 2023 and the Subsidy Regulation Polder Mills Hollands Noorderkwartier.
- Subsidies may only be granted for activities aimed at maintaining polder mills located within the management area of the water board and listed in Annex I to the subsidy scheme.
- The amount of the grant is up to 50% of the eligible costs with a maximum of €1000 per mill per calendar year.
- For 2026, thesubsidy ceilinghas beenset at €53,000.
- The subsidy for the calendar year 2025 can be applied for until February 15, 2026, at the latest.

With your grant request, attach:
- A budget of and a coverage plan for the conservation costs of the polder mill(s).
The coverage plan shall include a statement of grants or reimbursements requested from others for the same activities, indicating the status thereof. - If necessary, a de minimis declaration (for companies only).

After your submission

Once your request is complete, you will receive a letter with our decision within eight weeks. We will, of course, do our best to process your request as quickly as possible.
