Vision for a Socially Responsible Government

Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) is an integrated vision of sustainable business practices. When a government acts in a socially responsible manner, every decision is weighed against its social and economic impact. CSR within HHNK is the way we want to do our work.

The most important document at the moment is the Vision for Socially Responsible Government. It sets out exactly what HHNK does with CSR and why this is important. 

Together with our residents, businesses, and organizations, we strive for sustainable added value in our working area. Society (people), the environment (planet), and the economy (profit) are the starting points for cooperation with our community. We work with public funds and sometimes conflicting interests, and we also face dilemmas and sometimes complex choices. A reliable government dares to make choices and explains them. HHNK wants to be clear about what is and is not possible. Openness and transparency are paramount; we explain our course and choices and are accountable. Our ambitions and objectives for the coming years are set out in the Vision for a Socially Responsible Government. Participation and dialogue of great importance in this regard.
