Preparation for harbor dredging

Many people with boats in Durgerdam know that the depth of the harbor is a problem. The municipality of Amsterdam plans to dredge the harbor in 2023. At the end of this year, the quality of the waterbed will first be investigated. Both the silt and the harbor will also be measured; this will be done in consultation with the water sports associations. Based on the results of the investigation, a plan will be drawn up, which will be shared in this newsletter. Project leader Arie Dirk van der Plas from the municipality of Amsterdam is involved in this project. He coordinates the work with the Durgerdam core team, the clubs, and the residents of Durgerdam.
