Durgerdam
Durgerdam is a characteristic village with a rich history within the municipality of Amsterdam. The Durgerdammerdijk is characterized by a succession of 'capes' and 'bays' and by the contrast between the cozy, compact village on the dike and the large open spaces. Durgerdam is monumental in many ways. HHNK has joined forces with Amsterdam and the province to come up with integrated solutions for water safety and public space (including nature, traffic safety, road maintenance, cables and pipes, parking, and more).
