Enkhuizen

For inspection purposes, we are having aerial photographs taken by drone of the IJssel and Markermeer dikes between Medemblik, Enkhuizen, and Hoorn.

The restoration mainly concerns the jointing, brickwork, natural stone, woodwork, roofing, and painting.

To protect the water-retaining function of the Markermeer and IJsselmeer dikes, we burn away vegetation on the stone revetments.
