These clouds hung over the village of Stompetoren in early September. In this painting, you can see dark clouds shifting away, allowing the light of the sun to shine through. The stark contrasts of light and dark in the original photo reminded me of Van Gogh's Starry Night. Inspired by this, I set to work, and this is the final result.
