Paying in installments by direct debit

Would you like to pay your water authority tax in installments? This is possible with a direct debit authorization. We will then collect the assessment in up to 10 instalments. That's easy, you always pay on time without having to worry about it.

Request direct debit online

You authorize the Water Board to debit the assessment amount from your account in monthly installments. This authorization continues until you cancel it or the debit fails. The minimum monthly amount to be debited is € 10 and we will debit the instalments around the 28th of each month.

Request

You can only request direct debit after you have received the tax bill digitally or by mail.

If you no longer want to use this payment method, you can revoke the authorization.

Change account number

Only 1 IBAN can be used for direct debits. If you change the account number, this change will apply to all the authorizations you have granted to Belastingzaken. It is not possible, for example, to have the Discharge Tax debited from another IBAN than the one from which the Water Board Tax assessment notice is debited.

I sold my property, but you are still debiting money from my account.

If you sell your home during the year, it does not affect the water system levy or road levy. The situation on January 1 is decisive for the entire year. So this year you will pay for the property you owned on January 1.

However, the notary usually settles the assessment amount with the buyer. The buyer pays a proportional part. You can find this on the settlement invoice you receive upon transfer. You then pay the total assessment amount to us.

If you use direct debit, monthly debits usually continue into the next year. This is because we do not impose the assessment until during the year and we want to give you time to pay the amount.

If you no longer wish to use direct debit, you must withdraw your authorization for this. You can easily arrange this through myhhnk.nl. You will then need to transfer the remaining amount at once.
