Buffering rainwater with TheClimateWall

This innovative facade system from Blue Innovations buffers rainwater, greens facades and brings natural cooling back to urban areas. The funding enables growth acceleration from working prototype to production and market launch. 

Facades as water buffers and greeners

After six years of development, TheClimateWall is ready for wide application. The system functions passively and autonomously, storing rainwater and thus watering plants throughout the year - even during longer droughts of up to 60 days. Thanks to the simple "plug, flow & grow" principle (easy installation) and high impact, the system is particularly suitable for urban areas with water and heat problems. The system can be used on facades, but also as a fence and, for example, as an educational set-up at schools.
