For my riparian piece, I chose to recreate a photograph, which I took myself, of three different insects sitting on the same flowers. I chose to add texture to the flowers to make it more realistic and a little more playful. I also occasionally used a white pencil to represent the lighter spots on the insects. I chose this picture because it shows how different insects come together near the water and the flowers that stand next to it.
