For my riverside piece, I chose to recreate a photo I took myself of three different insects sitting on the same flowers. I decided to add texture to the flowers to make it more realistic and a little more playful. I also occasionally used a white pencil to highlight the lighter areas on the insects. I chose this photo because it shows how different insects come together at the water and the flowers that surround it.
