Measure 'Raising = compensating in low-lying areas'

The draft Water Board Regulation 2025 included proposals for rules for low-lying areas. From the many responses we received to this, concerns about potential impacts were high. As a result, on December 3, 2024, our Executive Board decided to remove this topic from the proposed Water Board Ordinance 2025 amendments and move it forward to the next Water Board Ordinance amendment. We will enter into discussions with stakeholders in 2025 to come up with an elaboration of the measure that can count on more support and understanding. At the end of 2025, based on the responses collected, decisions will be made on the preferred scenario that will be chosen to be included in the public participation process for the amendment Water Board Ordinance 2027.
