Maintenance Ordinance
The Maintenance Ordinance contains the provisions on maintenance obligations applicable in our management area. These rules were previously found in the Keur, but were not allowed to be included in the Water Board Ordinance due to the Omgevingswet . They have not been changed in terms of content.
The ordinance states who must perform what maintenance on water works, such as ditches or dikes. For example, cleaning ditches or maintaining walkways. We check whether the rules in the Maintenance Ordinance are observed. During the inspection we check whether the ditch maintenance has been carried out properly.
