  • Improvement of wet infrastructure in Noordkop

    With this project, we are improving fish migration and fish diversity between the Wadden Sea, the hinterland, and the IJsselmeer.

  • Dike reinforcement Den Oever-Den Helder

    The dikes between Den Oever and Den Helder do not meet the standard in several places.

  • Solar parks Den Helder

    Solar parks are being constructed at three locations in Den Helder: on the Oostoever site, on the wastewater treatment plant site, and along the Balgzand Canal (Spuikanaal).

  • MANABAS COAST

    We monitor the dynamics of beaches and dunes. This paves the way for the implementation of Nature-based Solutions in the North Sea region.

  • TREASURE

    At the De Helsdeur pumping station, we are investigating how plastic is spread through the water system and how we can prevent this plastic pollution.

  • Helderse Sea Wall

    At the Helderse Zeewering, the asphalt on the outside of the dike no longer meets the standard.

  • Harbor embankment

    A section of the Havendijk does not meet the latest flood safety requirements. The project decision regarding the dike reinforcement is currently available for public review.

  • Catching moles on the dike

    There are moles in some places in our dikes. For water safety reasons, we have them removed by a professional mole catcher.
